During the 4th Coordinating meeting held in a virtual format, the consortium had the opportunity to present and analyze some of the resources developed during the last semester, as well as to look forward to the coming months.
The first “intellectual output” of the project is concluded with the development of the Guide of Best Practices on Volunteering for Social Inclusion Through Sport in the Mediterranean Region.
The purpose of this guide is to engage all actors involved with sports volunteerism in a dynamic individual improvement and collective convergence of principles at the heart of the identity of sports volunteerism for social inclusion and the development of “soft” skills for future employability.
In the next months, the Consortium will be engaged in the development of an educational program aimed to empower young volunteers to carry volunteering activities using sport as a tool for social inclusion.
Finally, a first draft of the Policy recommendations (five “intellectual output”) was presented.
After having discuss about next steps to improve communication and visibility of the project, the meeting ended.
